Networking - A Everyday Hustle

Okay, first and foremost, I'm jive like new to this blogging thing so i'm learnin as I go. As I do with damn near everything I been doiing. I called this blog Networking - A Everyday Hustle, cuz I believe whole heartedly that Networking is something you can do every day with little or no money. Get your list together, make phone calls, meet and greet people, drop a note. Don't be a dick, no bitchassness, swallow ya pride and lose the ego. Remember always - 1st impressions are everything.

Pushing ya music should be your primary focus, but networking and meeting people should be just as important. Handle it like a campaign. Like you running to be the HNIC. (My President Is Black) is a great example of the benefits of being able to have an impression on the people you meet. When you look at a politician, anyone worth noting, they shake hands, make eye contact with nearly every within arms reach. They are polite etc. for a reason. Because they need your vote...well just apply the same principles to your music.

You need the listners vote. Or the promoter, dj, manager etc. You need they vote. So introduce your self, smile, show love etc. That doesn't neccessarly mean ride a nigga dick, but it should always be a auora of respect for yourself and the people you dealin with. Whether its business or personal. Either way you look at it, its rules to this shit. Those that following and honor them will flourish, those that don't will perish in due time.

Until next time Mayne.

I agree whole heartedly, there is no room at all for pride and huge egos in this game, that's why I always remain humble, hungry but humble non the less, it took me forever to get into this blogging thing as well even though my manager always encouraged to do so
